KARA's Hara is known for her record-breaking running speed, her doll-like features, but also her ant waist!

Hara's tiny waist was first brought to light back in 2009 when KARA performed "Mister", and even after all those years her waist has stayed the same.

On the April 1 airing of SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment' Hara came in for an interview. She measured her waist over her thick sweater, and her waist came to be 24 inches. 'One Night' said if you took away the thickness of the sweater, her waist was still 20 inches.

She said that since her waist was so small, she had been doing some waist exercises to thicken it, but it looks like it hasn't changed!

As a direct contrast to her thin frame, Hara also talked about the foods she likes to eat, which were Korean BBQ and pork/beef intestines!

150403 Hara deletes Instagram photo with former Girls' Generation member Jessica and Davichi's Kang Min Kyung, likely from backlash

On April 3, KARA's Hara had posted a photo of herself, Davichi's Kang Min Kyung, and former Girls' Generation member Jessica, hanging out with bright smiles on their faces. But this seemingly innocent picture apparently riled up some fans, and the backlash may have been a bit much for Hara, for she deleted the post soon afterwards.

She wrote, "denim sisters," as a caption accompanying the photo, which showed the three rocking their skinny jeans as they smiled for the camera.

However, not everyone was happy to see this picture, it seems, because some believed Hara might hurt the feelings of the other Girls' Generation members she's friends with by remaining close with Jessica and posting pictures with her.

With her deleting the photo, many have been asking her to repost as well as expressing their frustration with fans who take things too far over something as small as an innocent photo.

On her Instagram on July 8, she said, “Long time no see.”

In the picture, Goo Hara has a red filtered photo showing her small white face and light-colored hair and eyebrows. She has no expression, making her big eyes and pretty face stand out even more.

In response, people said, “Long time no see,” “You are so pretty,” “This picture has weird feelings.”

Recently, KARA members Jiyoung and Nicole exited KARA, and Youngji was added to KARA as a new member from the show, “KARA Project.”

A photo of JYP finalist back in 2007 is exclusively obtained by StarNews on June 3, revealing popular idols nowadays.

The photo was taken during the JYP Audition in 2007 showing the finalists’ 1st appearances. In the photo, we could see the young Goo Hara (16) who is now a member of popular girl group KARA. In addition to that, Yoon Doo Joon (19) was also included, who is now a member of one of the hottest boy group BEAST.

Aside from Goo Hara (yellow) and Yoon Doo Joon (blue), other idols who are now known from their respective groups were there, like EvoL’s Hayana (red), Berry Good’s Nayeon (green), F-ve Dolls’ Seo Eun Gyo (white), and 15&’s Baek YeLin (violet).

It’s nice to see these young people have become successful now.

KARA‘s Goo Hara gave an update herself for her longing fans.
Because there were no news about Goo Hara’s current status for a long time, Goo Hara herself uploaded the behind-the-scene cuts of her photo shoot for Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Envy Shine Lipstick on Naver’s Starcast.
The photo shoot’s concept was ‘Lovely Lips that Spark Jealousy’ which was executed with a heavy make-up on eyes and lips. For Spring, she recommended coral colors or pinks.
She also apologized to her fans, and promised that a quite new image of her will be seen on her return which is scheduled soon.

131024 Goo Hara Revealed to Have Fainted During Kara's Japan Concert Tour

On October 24, DSP Media, home to girl group Kara, told local news agencies that member Goo Hara suddenly fainted from exhaustion during a Japan concert. “Fortunately, it was just due to mild dizziness, and after receiving first aid, Goo Hara returned back onto the stage to greet fans.”

This occurred on October 23 at the Osaka leg of Kara’s “Kara 2nd Japan Tour 2013 Karasia” held at the Osaka-cho Hall. DSP Media has assured that “Goo Hara is steadily recovering and will be able to perform during the tour without a hitch. She received continuous treatment in Japan.”

Kara is currently on tour in Japan for their ”Kara 2nd Japan Tour 2013 Karasia,” hitting seven cities including Yokohama, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya.

Girl group KARA’s Hara passed out during a performance in Japan, and her agency reveals why.

On October 23rd, Hara fainted during a performance onstage at their Osaka City Hall ‘KARA 2nd Japan Tour 2013 KARASIA’ concert in Japan, and had to be taken offstage by staff.

A rep from KARA’s agency DSP Media stated on October 24th, “Hara fainted suddenly during the Japan concert due to exhaustion. Fortunately, she only complained of mild dizziness. After she received medical attention, she rested and went back onstage to greet her fans.”

The rep continued, “Hara is currently resting and trying to restore her health, and plans to continue with the next performance without a hitch. She is still receiving treatment in Japan.”

KARA has been on their KARASIA tour in Japan, and will visit Yokohama, Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, for a total of 7 cities.

KARA’s Goo Hara, actor Hyun Bin and more will be awarded for setting a good example on thrift spending and big savings.

A representative from the Financial Services Commission revealed it plans to award the country’s Hallyu stars for their exemplary savings, as part of events to commemorate the 50th Savings Day which will take place on October 29.

Hyunbin and Goo Hara have been mentioned on the list of award winners alongside baseball player Lee Dae Ho and actresses Lee Hye Young as well as Han Hye Jin.

The commission explained, “Hyunbin has been thrifty and has put most of his income into savings since his debut”. Goo was reportedly chosen for her exemplary saving and donations to charity.
