120927 Who’s the most beautiful KARA member according to professionals?
MBC Music’s ‘All the K-pop’ performed a survey with 100 plastic surgery surgeons and other personnels from Chungdamdong, asking to rank the KARA members in terms of looks.
Park Gyuri, who is well known as a “goddess”, ranked first on the survey. Most of the plastic surgeons said, “Gyuri has golden proportions. She has the most ideal eyes, nose, and lips. Many patients come to us asking for a face like Gyuri.”
Seungyeon ranked second with her cute and innocent appearance. She said, “I actually don’t like my eyes. I often hear that I look scary and mean when I open my eyes wide. But I’m happy that I ranked second.”
Jiyoung placed 3rd, Goo Hara placed 4th and Nicole placed 5th. Many fans were surprised at Goo Hara ranking as fourth. Professionals explained, “Goo Hara has good proportions and is pretty. But maybe that is why she seems a little less natural.”

After releasing ‘KARA COLLECTION’ which listed the members’ solo tracks, girl group KARA is set to release a new Japanese single ‘Electric Boy’ next month. Ahead of the official release, a music video for the title song has been revealed.
‘Electric Boy’ will be released on October 17. The single will include the title track “Electric Boy” and “Orion” and will be available in three different versions; Limited Edition Type (A,B,C).
In addition, the group will release the concert DVD and Bluray of their successful first Japan tour: ‘KARA 1ST JAPAN TOUR 2012 KARASIA’. This is available in Regular and Limited Edition featuring a behind-the-scenes footage.

KARA will be performing their new song "Electric Boy" at the "SIGMA FES" festival in Okinawa this coming 8th of October.
The girls will perform their new song prior to its scheduled release in music sites which is on the 17th of October.
The song is said to have a disco tune and sexy lyrics giving KARA a matured and sexy charisma to portray. This festival is also a huge event in Japan which will also stage DJ Kaori, A-Jax, Gold Rush, and other Universal Music artists.

Girl group KARA, took over the stage with their sexiness.
KARA appeared on MBC's "Show! Music Core," on Saturday and performed their title song, "Pandora."
On this day, KARA was seen wearing a red t-shirt with a white jacket and hot pants that showed off their body. During the performance, Han Seungyeon was seen taking off her jacket slightly and attracted attention with her sexy back.
KARA's song "Pandora," was made by Han Jae Ho and Kim Seung Soo. It is a song of the electronic house genre with a retro punk mix. It has a taste of hard rock and it's a dance song of a synth pop genre.

120921 Kara’s Kang Ji Young Predicted to Marry First and Nicole Last

If the predictions prove true, Kara’s Kang Ji Young may hear her own wedding bells in just a few years.
The Kara members recently dropped by to record for MBC Music’s All The K-Pop. During the episode, the show revealed it had paid a visit to some 20 famous fortune-tellers around Seoul to determine which Kara members would be getting married first.
According to the results, Kang Ji Young was said to be likely to get married first, followed by Park Gyuri, Han Seung Yeon, Goo Hara and lastly, Nicole.
The majority of the fortune-tellers said, “The youngest member, Kang Ji Young has the destiny to get married around 24 to 25 years of age and become the wife of a family’s eldest son and she is likely to choose marriage over work.”
The revelation of the ranking took the Kara members by surprise at first but then the members added, “Kang Ji Young has always said she wants to get married early.”
MC Boom then asked Kang Ji Young to turn to the cameras and send a special message to her future husband in which Kang Ji Young said to the cameras, “Darling, hurry and come!”
The episode will air on September 21.

120922 Hara’s older brother reveals his favorite KARA member
Recently, MBC‘s ‘God of Victory‘ visited a military base for its filming. As mentioned earlier, girl groupsKARA and SECRET were guests on the show, and Hara‘s older brother made a surprise appearance.
On the upcoming episode, he showed off variety skills that were on par with his little sister. Even though Hara cried out of happiness at seeing her older brother, when MC Kim Yong Man asked, “Who is your favorite KARA member?“, he hesitated at first but answered honestly, “I like Nicole the best.”
When Hara heard, rather than looking surprised, she only nodded as if she expected it, showing that this wasn’t the first time her brother had chosen Nicole.

On September 16th, KARA‘s Nicole uploaded a picture of KARA’s outing with the message: “Eating out with my members, it’s been a while. Good.”
Gyuri is posing with the infamous victory sign as Jiyoung can be seen holding her chopsticks ready to eat! Seungyeon and Hara look like they could be endorsement models for chopsticks! Nicole, on the other hand, was likely behind the camera.
Many netizens replied, “Where are you, Nicole? I want to see your beautiful face as well,” and “Tell me where you are, and I’ll be there!”
120919 KARA’s Jiyoung, B2ST’s Doojoon, and MBLAQ’s Lee Joon to join the cast of ‘IRIS 2′
KARA‘s Jiyoung, B2ST‘s Doojoon, and MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon are reported to have all been cast in the upcoming drama, ‘IRIS 2‘.
According to a drama representative, the three idol stars will be joining the all-star cast taking on roles as agents.
Kang Jiyoung has been cast as the honest and confident agent ‘Song Chae Ran’, Yoon Doojoon as the cool agent ‘Yoon Shi Hyuk’, and last but not least Lee Joon as the talented password hacker, ‘Kim Ji Hun’.
In addition, actress Im Soo Hyang of ‘New Tales of Gisaeng‘ will also be joining the cast as an assassin working for the Russians.
One representative reported, “We have put in a lot of time and effort into casting for ‘IRIS 2′ to live up to the success of ‘IRIS’ with Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee as the leads. In addition to idol stars Kang Jiyoung, Yoon Doojoon, and Lee joon, older actors such as Baek Yoon Shik and Im Ha Ryongare also being considered for roles in the drama. We are expecting for [the production] to exceed the success of its predecessor.”
Meanwhile, the drama is scheduled to start airing at the beginning of 2013. To continue the story after the death of Lee Byung Hun in the first production, actors Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, and as recently reported Daniel Henney, are all highly likely to take on lead important roles in the drama. Taewon Entertainment which produced the first ‘IRIS’ will be in charge of the sequel as well.

120919 KARA’s Jiyoung releases MV for ‘Rainbow Rose’ OST Part 1
On September 19th, KARA’s Kang Jiyoung released the official sountrack for Korean-Japanese TV drama ‘Rainbow Rose’ along with the full music video featuring highlights from the drama itself.
‘Rainbow Rose’ was first aired in Japan in April and received great popularity due to the main characters. The series began airing in Korea’s cable channel Tooniverse starting September 6th.
The drama focuses on the lives of students from different countries and cultures while living together in a boardinghouse. Kang Jiyoung took her role named Yuri, a perky daughter of the house owner, who wishes to become a fashion designer.

KARA’s latest track “Pandora” has experienced great success in Taiwan, sweeping Taiwanese mobile chart prior to their album’s official release.
According to DSP Media on September 18th, KARA’s “Pandora” recently became the most downloaded caller tune and topped Taiwan Mobile’s download chart. It is more impressive as KARA has not yet officially released the album in the country.
A music representative in Taiwan revealed, “With KARA officially releasing their album in Taiwan, it is expected to show great success on more music charts.”
KARA will release “Pandora” on September 28th in Taiwan.

KARA‘s Hara shed tears after meeting her older brother while filming for MBC‘s ‘God of Victory‘.
The show took the girls of KARA and SECRET to a military air base in Suwon, where they battled it for 7 rounds in front of an audience of soldiers.
During a segment in which video messages for the idols were played, Hara’s older brother appeared on set, surprising everyone there. Hara couldn’t hold back her tears after her brother’s sudden appearance.
She stated, “I went to the military base to visit my brother. It’s been a while since I’ve seen him, so I’m really happy. Oppa, I love you.”
This episode of ‘God of Victory’ will air on September 16th.

The girls of KARA were the guests on the 14th of September broadcast of KBS "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" and the girls talked about their famous "butt dance" from"Mister".
On the show, the MC asked, "The butt dance from Mr. was very famous, what's the story behind it?".
The members answered and Seungyeon shared "When we first saw the butt dance we asked, 'Do we really have to do this?', at first we were really embarrassed" but then Nicole admitted saying, "but then we got used to it and liked the choreography." Park Gyuri followed, "Now we are fond of the dance and we dance it anywhere, We're not worried dancing it even if were already in our 30's".
