140924 KARA”s Gyuri and Seungyeon lend their voices for “Iron Man” OST with the song “Hello”
KARA“s Seungyeon and Gyuri have taken some time out from their busy schedule to record a song for the OST of KBS drama “Iron Man“!
The song is titled “Hello” and its an acoustic-style track that expresses the love between Shin Se Kyung and Lee Dong Wook“s characters. The girls” lovely voices bring the lyrics to life to further heighten the emotions during the drama.

KARA”s Hara, SISTAR”s Dasom, and 5urprise”s Seo Kang Jun will host the “2014 Hallyu Dream Concert“!
This year”s festival will be held at Gyeongju Civic Stadium, Gyeongbuk (North Gyeongsang Province) on the 28th at 6 PM KST.
The event will feature performances 22 teams including EXO-K, SISTAR, 4minute, KARA, VIXX, SECRET, B.A.P, BTOB, T-ara, Block B, Dal Shabet, Crayon Pop, Ailee, BESTie, GOT7, Red Velvet, Topp Dogg, F.CUZ, DickPunks, HALO, Boys Republic, and LU:KUS.
140911 KARA have a “gwiyomi battle” on Weekly Idol

To win a delicious dish from the program, four members had to do “gwiyomi” – “cutie player” and the MCs would choose the cutest one to give her food. WhileHara and Seungyeon were naturally adorable, Gyuri was teased by the hosts for her strange voice, which made the studio full of laughter. In the end, new maknae,Youngji, melted the MCs hearts with her youthful and lovely expression.
Youngji also showed her good and cute dancing skills by dancing to B.A.P”s “Warrior” and SHINee”s “Sherlock” in a feminine way.

140911 Kang Ji Young Makes First Public Appearance Since Leaving KARA
Former KARA member Kang Ji Young has officially marked her new start as an actress in Japan by making her very first public appearance since leaving the girl group earlier this year in January.
On September 6, Kang Ji Young attended “The 19th Tokyo Girls Collection” (TGC) held at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan, and walked the runway as a model.
This runway stage received much interest, as it was the first event at which the public was able to catch a glimpse of Kang Ji Young following her exit from KARA.
On this day, she greeted her fans by saying, “Hello, everyone. This is Ji Young. I’m so happy to be able to stand in front of you all after such a long time. Has everyone been doing well? From now on, I would like to move forward and work hard as an actress without losing my roots. Please show support.”
Meanwhile, the former KARA member ended her contract with DSP Media and left for the UK in order to study language and acting. This past August, she made her plans to begin promotions as an actress known, by signing a contract with a Japanese entertainment agency, Sweet Power. Starting this October, Kang Ji Young will be acting as the lead female role in a new Japanese drama titled “Hell Teacher Nube.”
140912 KARA”s Youngji to sing theme song for upcoming animated movie “Tasty 2: Happy Together”
KARA”s Youngji is already making a name for herself as she has been chosen to sing for upcoming animated movie “Tasty 2: Happy Together” only within a month into her debut!
Youngji will work with the movie”s music supervisor Kim Jun Sung to sing the Korean and Japanese versions of the theme song.
The movie”s producers stated, “We worked with many celebrities including artists for our animations up until now so we were looking for a fresh face. Considering her beauty and talent as well as the fact that it will premiere in Korea and Japan simultaneously, we chose Youngji.”
Youngji shared, “It is such an honor for me to sing the theme song for an animation that is being produced in Korea. I normally like animations so after reading the original “Tasty 2: Happy Together”, I see that it is an animation with a message. I want to sing a sincere song to express those emotions.”
“Tasty 2: Happy Together” is set to premiere in Spring 2015!
