130304 KARA’s Gyuri to become cross-dressing nail tech for lead role in ‘Nail Salon Paris’

As mentioned previously, KARA‘s Gyuri will be starring as the lead actress in the upcoming MBC drama ‘Nail Salon Paris‘. Earlier today, more details about her role were revealed!

Gyuri will be teaming up with MBLAQ‘s Thunder, Song Jae Rim, Jun Ji Hoo, and more for the drama. She will be playing Hong Yuk Yoo, an internet fiction writer, who disguises herself as a man while working for the trendy nail salon ‘Paris’.

Although Gyuri has experience with musicals and KARA’s Japanese drama, along with a cameo for sitcom ‘What Is Mom‘, this will be the first time she will be holding her own as the lead actress of a drama.

‘Nail Salon Paris’ will premiere this April so stay tuned!

130304 KARA’s Park Gyuri to Star in New Drama as Female Lead

KARA’s Park Gyuri will be making her Korean drama debut as the female lead for “The Nail Shop Paris.” She will be joined by MBLAQ’s Thunder, Song Jae Rim, Jeon Ji Hoo, and more.

Park Gyuri will take on the role Hong Yeo Joo, an Internet novelist who also pretends to be a boy to work at a flower boy nail shop called “Paris.” In the series, Park Gyuri will show off her acting skills, as well as nail art skills.

In preparation for her acting debut in Korea, she has been preparing and studying for her character despite her busy schedule in Korea and Japan.

The drama will premiere this April on both MBC DRAMA NET and MBC QUEEN this April.

130301 KARA to release "Bye Bye Happy Days" as new Japanese single later this month + cover pictures revealed

Five member girl group KARA will be revealing another single in a few weeks’ time.

“Bye Bye Happy Days” will be revealed in three different versions which will all share the same base tracklist of tracks “Bye Bye Happy Days,” “My Boy,” and its instrumentals. Limited Type A comes with an extra DVD featuring a music video, a dance version of that video and an off shot recording. Type B will have a music video, close-up version and an off shot recording for “Orion.” The CD only release gets an additional bonus track in the form of song “Beautiful Night.”

“Bye Bye Happy Days” is set for a March 27th release.
