Kara′s Goo Hara will be appearing in the first of a series of short pieces to be helmed by director Kim Gyu Tae of That Winter, the Wind Blows.
According to an official on May 15, Goo Hara has confirmed her appearance in a short piece to air in September. The piece will run for five episodes, and air in Japan after airing in Korea.
Goo Hara will act as Hyun Jung, a 23-year-old girl who tries to fulfill her bucket list after she is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She meets a man who is set on committing suicide during her travels, and falls in love.
The singer first started her acting career with a role in SBS′ City Hunter in 2011. After that she continued on her singing career, making her recent role her first lead role.
Kara has recently been launching solo ventures. Han Seung Yeon is appearing in SBS′ Jang Ok Jung, while Park Gyuri also took up a lead role in MBC Queen′sNailshop Paris.
